ENGLISH VERSION: Bela switches partner to Gutierrez

PadelDirekt can reveal some major news that will shake the world of padel. Sources close to Fernando Belasteguin reports that he will switch his current partner, the 9th ranked Agustin Tapia. Belas new partner will be his fellow country-man Sanyo Gutierrez.

Sources close to Fernando Belasteguin tells PadelDirekt that Bela and Tapia will part ways. The posterboy Bela will instead start a dream-duo together with 5th ranked Sanyo Gutierrez. 

Bela and Sanyo played against each in the finals at the latest WPT-tournament at Menorca, Spain. Sanyo won that game together with Franco Stupaczuk after 6,3,7-5 against Bela/Tapia.

Maybe it was that game that sparked Belas will to reunite with Gutierrez. Belas goal is to once again becomethe number one in the world, a position he amazingly held between 2002-2018. That accomplishment made him immensely popular in his homecountry Argentina. 

The 41 year old Bela just announced his new padelcenter in Alicante (Spain) named Bela Padel Center Alicante, that will be ready in november. Bela and Gutierrez unites as they both are from Argentina. Bela is born in Pehuajo and Gutierrez is born in San Luis. 

Gutierrez is a well-known top-player from the WPT-tour. He has an impressive record with winning 14 out of 20 games this year, with one final-victory and four semi-final spots.The breaking news will cause speculations. What will happen to Franco Stupaczuk and Augustin Tapia? The news can also be seen in the light of other players that recently parted ways, Matias Diaz/Agustin Silingo and Maxi Sanchez/Martin Di Nenno.
